Ice-skating

Dosbarth Coch has been lucky enough to have been chosen to go to the ice rink!! I'm hoping the boys and girls will be able to help Mrs Jay and I on the ice!! We will have lots of fun after our Christmas Concert learning to skate!! Don't worry boys and girls who are a little bit nervous there will be lots of adults who can help us get around the ice rink!!

Christmas Costumes

Thank you very much to you all for sending in the beautiful costumes for the Christmas Concert. I am really excited to show our Concert to the whole of the infants tomorrow and to all the mums and dads, nans and grandads on Friday!! We hope you all enjoy it :)

I hope you are all enjoying your weekend, remember to keep practising your lines ready for our concert Friday. To those children who haven't brought their costumes in, please can you bring them on Monday, we need them ASAP.

Christmas Concert

Round Objects

A busy week!!

What a busy week we have had Dosbarth Coch, the rockets landed on Monday and the aliens came to visit us today!! I look forward to seeing what next week brings!!

I have sent your learning logs home this week- to find out what you know about space, don't forget you have 3 weeks to complete them so take your time, and don't forget to write in pencil!!

We had a very successful day today for Children in Need and PC Penrose came to see us to teach us about the emergency services!

Don't forget your P.E kits on Monday if you haven't got them in school already.

Purple Mash

At last I have been able to set a Purple Mash Activity for you to do over the weekend. Firework- Paint project.

 Here's how to get onto the activity;

Click on the Purple Mash icon on the home screen on the school website. Enter in 'year 1' for both our username and password. Then click the home screen and click on 'Guy Fawkes'. I would like you to create some fireworks using the paint project. Remember to draw what you saw when watching the fireworks, thinking about the different colours and shapes.

You can then save them at home, and I can see them on Monday in school.

Finally our class blog is up and running! I hope you all had a great half term, and are looking forward to our busy half term in school before Christmas.
